Italian Language Adult Beginners Classes
1st Course
Using various resources students will sit around a table in an intimate setting and learn by:
- listening, speaking and responding
- viewing, reading and responding
- writing
Students will learn basic ways to communicate in Italian, new vocabulary and a little grammar. These lessons are ideal for anyone thinking of travelling to Italy, or simply for those who love and have always wanted to learn the language. There are 5 units in this course. By the end of the units you will be a level A1. (textbook required).
Intermediate
3rd course
Students have covered all verb tenses along with other grammar and are able to understand slowly spoken Italian. They are also able to communicate familiar topics of personal interest and are now consolidating the work covered in the Advanced beginner course. By the end of the course you will be at level B1. This course has 4 units (textbook required)
High School Student Classes
Get prepared for your WACE exams by practicing your Italian grammar! These classes will help all high school students with their Italian. Students will be revising verb tenses, doing readings and comprehension activities, listening and responding, and practicing conversation. Maximum of 10 students in the class. Anyone can join at any time during this course. A great way to better your WACE marks!
Advanced Beginner Language Classes
2nd course
Students have covered basic grammar and are covering different verbs tenses through - listening, speaking and responding - viewing, reading and responding - writing. These students have a little more knowledge than Absolute Beginners and do a little more speaking practice when they feel comfortable to do so and at their own pace with no pressure. There are 4 units in this course. By the end of the units you will be at a level A2. (Textbook required)
Intermediate/Conversation Italian Language Classes
Ongoing course
Guided by a textbook, conversation prompting questions, a small amount of grammar revision if needed, and sometimes listening, reading, writing & comprehension. In this class we have another Native Speaker of Italian who joins us. This class is less structured than usual.
LIVE Online Italian Classes
Small groups of up to 10 students. The terms run for 9 weeks and classes duration is 1 hour. Materials supplied. Various levels - please click on the Enrol Now tab to enquire about your level and the next intake. Online term cost - $250 per student
